The quality of academic education in the assessment of future graduates.

Streszczenie:  W opracowaniu przedstawiono wybrane oczekiwania przyszłych absolwentów względem edukacji wyższej w świetle przeprowadzonych badań i analiz materiałów źródłowych. Na tej podstawie sformułowano wnioski dotyczące oczekiwań młodzieży studiującej edukacji wyższej oraz szeroko pojętych wymagań wobec rynku pracy. Wyzwaniem jest dostosowanie się do wymagań rynku pracy, pracodawców, współczesnego postępu cywilizacyjnego, jak również zwiększenie atrakcyjności zajęć, nacisk na zajęcia praktyczne, mniejsza liczba godzin wykładów, podniesienie jakości kształcenia, a tym samym podniesienie wymagań wobec studentów.

Abstract: The study presents selected expectations of future graduates from higher education. Based on the research and analysis of source materials, conclusions have been formulated regarding the expectations of young people regarding higher education and the broadly understood requirements of the labor market. On the one hand, the challenge is to adapt to the requirements of the labor market, employers, and civilization progress. On the other hand, the increase in the attractiveness of higher education is necessary: emphasis on practical classes, fewer lectures hours, improving the quality of education, and thus increasing the requirements for students.
