Abstract: The articles tackles the issues of environmental awareness of teachers. It presents the results of checking the level of knowledge and environmental awareness of teachers in Silesian region carried out in 2015 in terms of protection of the environment. The paper gives the summary overview together with the final conclusions from the research.
