The role of a career counsellor in the development of the educational and professional path of university students – their opinions

Streszczenie: Życie każdego człowieka składa się z kilku sfer. Jedną z nich jest sfera zawodowa, która w znacznym stopniu determinuje całokształt funkcjonowania jednostki i jest z nim powiązana. O wyborze ścieżki edukacyjno-zawodowej decyduje wiele czynników. Wśród nich istotną rolę odegrać może doradca zawodowy. Niniejszy artykuł nakreśla rolę doradcy na drodze ważnych wyborów życiowych młodego człowieka w machinie pędzącego świata. Autorzy mają świadomość, iż nie wyczerpuje on, a jedynie wprowadza w problematykę poruszanego zagadnienia.

Abstract: Life of every person consists of several spheres. One of them is the professional sphere, which determines the life of an individual to a large extent. Many factors determine the choice of the educational and professional paths. Among them there is a career counsellor who can play a critical role in the process. This article outlines the role of a career counsellor who can help young people to make important life choices. The authors are aware that the paper is not exhaustive, but only introduces the problem discussed.
