Streszczenie: W artykule przedstawiono sylwetkę twórcy idei pedagogiki serca na Ukrainie. Wasyl Aleksandrowicz Suchomliński był twórcą ukraińskiej odmiany teorii pedagogicznej, która nawiązywała do nowego ruchu z początków XX wieku. Twórca pracował nad teorią stopniowo przez lata. Treścią jego dzieła jest szczegółowy opis innowacyjnego i rozległego eksperymentu z lat 1951–1956 realizowanego głównie w formie zajęć pozalekcyjnych. Eksperyment przebiegał na poziomie wychowania przedszkolnego i wczesnoszkolnego.

Abstract: The article deals with the idea of the pedagogy of the heart in Ukraine. Vasyl Aleksandrowicz Suchomliński was the creator of the Ukrainian version of the pedagogical theory which referred to the new movement from the beginning of the 20th century. The creator worked on the theory gradually over the years. The content of his work is a detailed description of an innovative and extensive experiment from 1951–1956 carried out mainly in the form of extracurricular activities. The experiment was carried out at the level of pre-school and early school education.
