Streszczenie: Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie zagrożeń w rozwoju zawodowym nauczycieli w sposób spójny i przystępny, z uwzględnieniem badań polskich i międzynarodowych. Analizie poddano czynniki indywidualne, instytucjonalne i systemowe, które wpływają na doskonalenie kompetencji pedagogicznych. Niniejsza analiza wskazuje na najważniejsze zagrożenia, takie jak przeciążenie zawodowe, brak autonomii, nierówny dostęp do szkoleń oraz starzenie się kadry, a także analizuje mechanizmy ich oddziaływania i konsekwencje dla jakości edukacji. Wybrane zagrożenia zostały wyróżnione ze względu na ich częstotliwość, skalę oddziaływania oraz znaczenie dla efektywności rozwoju zawodowego nauczycieli.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the threats to teachers’ professional development in a coherent and accessible manner, taking into account both Polish and international research. The analysis focuses on individual, institutional, and systemic factors that influence the enhancement of pedagogical competences. This study identifies the most significant challenges, such as work overload, lack of autonomy, unequal access to professional training, and the ageing of the teaching workforce, and examines the mechanisms of their impact as well as their consequences for the quality of education. The selected threats have been highlighted due to their frequency, scale of influence, and importance for the effectiveness of teachers’ professional development.
