Streszczenie: Artykuł prezentuje obszary działalności, zasady funkcjonowania i organizacji pracy Ośrodków Wsparcia i Testów, których celem jest zwiększanie, podtrzymywanie oraz poprawa możliwości samodzielnego funkcjonowania osób z niepełnosprawnością ich rodzin i opiekunów. Celem artykułu jest również zaprezentowanie zakresu wsparcia przy wykorzystaniu potencjału wybranych technologii asystujących, którymi dysponują Ośrodki Wsparcia i Testów w usamodzielnianiu i upodmiotowieniu osób z niepełnosprawnościami.

Abstract: This article presents the areas of activity, principles of operation, and work organization of Support and Testing Centers, which aim to increase, sustain, and improve the independent functioning of people with disabilities and their families and caregivers. The article also aims to present the scope of support using the potential of assistive technologies available to Support and Testing Centers in fostering independence and empowerment of people with disabilities.
